SSA-SAA Emergency Disaster Assistance Grant Fund Established
The Society of Southwest Archivists and the Society of American Archivists have established a fund to provide grants to archival repositories affected by Hurricane Katrina and Hurrican Rita.

See a list of those who have donated to the fund and organizations that have received grants as of May 2005.

To learn more, apply for grant assistance, or make a donation, click here. Note that repositories affect by Hurrican Rita have also been added to those eligible for grants.

The Society of Southwest Archivists (SSA) has established this web site to capture and share information about our colleagues and friends from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas who have been affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

The Society of American Archivists has set up a link for those wishing to volunteer to help in recovery efforts.
