Supply and Space Donations

Donations of supplies and space for repositories in need

Jerry Drake - GLO
Commissioner Patterson has instructed me to make available our excess storage space in our two archival vaults to use by collections affected by Hurricane Rita.

We have approximately 1800 feet of storage space available in our TAB Spacefinder mobile unit, which will accomodate loose files and some Hollinger boxes and we have approximately 843 feet of space in our TAB steel cabinets, which is suitable for Hollinger box storage.

Our vaults meet or exceed the standards for dark storage established by NARA. They are not, however, suitable for photograph or microfilm storage.

We can accomodate this storage on a short term basis to help facilitate clean up.

For more information, please contact Jerry Drake or Susan Smith Dorsey at 1-800-998-4GLO or via email at jerry.drake@glo.state.tx.us
